Synopsis

When one is truly in love, he does not speak merely from his mind--no matter how clever an intellectual he may be...

When one is truly in love, he does not speak merely from his lips--no matter how eloquent a speaker he may be...

No... When one is truly in love, we find that he never speaks from the surface of his soul, but from the very 'depths' of his heart...

Here, in this volume, what you will find is not merely a 'book'. What you hold in your hands with this volume is the innermost part of a man in love...
What you hold is the deepest part of a soul, drawn from the most earth-shaking time in a man's life. The time when a man bares all, gives all, and dares all--for love.
You hold in your hands the most intimate part of himself that a man can share with a woman.

You hold, 'My Secret Heart...'

Inspiration
This work is a compilation of over 30 years of the most wonderful and the most heart piercing moments in my life...
We have all felt the heady and dizzying heights of love, and then the most heartbreaking falls of love. Most of us don't talk about it. Well, here are over 200 poems of my search for the woman of my dreams till I discoverd her atlast.

This book of poems in divided like a great Hall. There are 5 Five Halls in all...

The Hall of Friendship:

Epitomize...

You epitomize to me
The meaning of a friend.
Thank God that in my hour of need
It was you He chose to send,

He could have sent a rainbow
To distract my mornful heart,
A beautiful diversion
To remove love's painful dart,

(for complete Poem see page 11)

The Hall of Romance:

Dare...

Dare I think about you
As much as my heart demands,

Thoughts of you are a potent wine
That staggers the strongest man,

The sight of you is a sweet perfume
That intoxicates the heart,
So that when one moves to speak--
It is difficult to start,

(For complete poem see pg 68)

Followed by
The Hall of Adventure
The Hall of Celebration

and

The Hall of Sorrow

I Died Within My Heart...

It bit me like a serpent
And its' wound was hard and deep,
Then it hissed its' satisfaction
And smiled its' sly relief,

Contented now and sleepy
As if exertion wore it thin,
It recoiled and lay back upon itself
And I began to die within,

The Serpent of Disappointment
The Pit Viper of Broken Dreams,
I think is the most venomous of all beasts
For atleast the pain so seems,

So young and full of innocence
So full of trust and flare,
Believing every promise
Distaining every care,

But reality is a callous Dragon
Spawning seed both cruel and plenty,
Wisdom is the precious balm that heals
But who has such balm at twenty?

Older now and wiser
I've learned to go 'slowly' from the start,
But the pain still haunts me from the day
I died within my heart...
