A Sparkle from Within

Synopsis
I have been writing poetry for many years now, and only very recently sharing my writing with others. Everything I write refers to a personal experience to some degree. I have seen many things in my time, some of them not so pretty. I strive to find beauty, and share my findings with anyone who cares to listen. In my writing, I hope to show a beauty that most are too busy within their own lives to acknowledge

Whispering Tears
With midnight’s moon glowing,
The snow owls sit in trees singing.
Do you hear what I hear?
Shooting stars filling the skies,
Far off, the distant howl of coyotes lurk.
Do you hear what I hear?
Midnight finds her dreams so sweet,
Whispering tears cry for her love.
Do you hear what I hear?
Morning sun beginning to peek,
Rose blossoms, they glisten in drops of dew.
Do you hear what I hear?
Singing birds filling the sky,
A faint rainbow sparkles above.
Do you hear what I hear?
All dreams ending for the night,
Fresh new beauty touches her heart.
Do you hear what I hear?
Opening eyes, her day is beginning,
Whispering tears sparkle, they cry to her soul.
Do you hear what I hear?
