I have worked in horticulture for 25 years, I have always felt an affinity to plant life. In my spare time I have written many stories, must of which have only ever been for the enjoyment of a close circle of friends.

HTTK has always been something a little special that is close to my heart, and began its life as a bed time story for my first daughter. When the council decided to pull down my shop to redevelop the area I began a fight to try and save my business, which became a long and immensley stressfull struggle over 2007.

More as a way of diverting my mind from the day to day conflict, in early 2007 I began to sort out my notes for the HTTK story and started to write, as my business suffered I found I had more time and so the first book became a reality, it has taken since then to get it published, but today it is out there and I continue to write the rest of the series

For myself, to be published. I have never seen myself as a writer, to me it has always been something I did for fun. To become a published Author is mind blowing and so I feel a huge acheivement matched only by my family who are my greatest.
