About Me:
I am a widow and live with my sister, Pat Takewell. In the photo Pat is on the left and I'm on the right. We just completed the book, Unique Soul, published by Infinity Publishing. In January, 2006, God told me to "write your life story"... so we began a writing adventure that spans three generations and covers much more than just a biography. Three hundred pages later, it is puplished. It has about 50 photos, including some of Dachau Concentration Camp taken by my Dad while he was serving America in WWII. We loved writing Unique Soul, and have begun our next book, Dominion.
My husband died of melonoma cancer in May of 2001. Pat moved in with me and we began our senior years adventure together as "sold out to God" women - soul winners for Jesus; including giving out bibles from a Christian float in the Mardi Gras parades on the Mississippi Coast. What I thought was a tragic ending, God turned around into a wondrous and exciting beginning for both of us. To God go all the Glory.
This is the second book Pat and I worked on. The first book was authored by Laura Schultz. She gave us all her notes and diary. We sorted, typed, edited, scanned photos and put all this together in book format on my computer. It is the story of Laura and Her husband Ted's life as missionaries in Togo and Benin, Africa, from 1950 to 1986. The book was published and circulated by Ted and Laura. Proceeds from "Follow The Plan and Find The Pieces", are dedicated to the West African School of Theology in Benin.

Mary - Took Scuba Diving lessons in 1982 and made 5 dives in Roatan Honduras. Earned a Private pilot license to fly a Cessna 152 in 1983.
Original career was in banking, including 8 years at FDIC. Now an Author and working for God. I have one daughter. While she was growing up we hosted 3 foreign exchange students.
Pat - Earned a music scholarship for college (French Horn). She received a Presidential Sports Award (Bowling MWBA director) for making an active commitment to life and her community. She had her first and last acting role in the local theater production of "My Fair Lady". She served on the Mayor's commission and was a volunteer for crises intervention. She worked with 3 others to compile a community directory of referral agencies withen the community. Retired as Central Services Supervisor and Phsychiatric Technician in a Psychiatric Hospital. She also enjoyed Scuba Diving in Honduras.
