About Me:

I was born and raised in Concord, NH and moved south in the late seventies along with my parents, three brothers and one sister and we all settled in NC. I began writing in the early nineties and traditionally published six books by New Horizon Press, McFarland Books, and Prometheous Books.

I then went on to self publish seven more books with my own publishing company, Mathews Books so that I could get them out faster and could put what I wanted in them without having it edited all to death. All these books are non fiction books.

I had four kids, two sons and two daughters and adopted my son's daughter Marie after he was wrongly convicted. Both my sons were killed, Jeff in 1999 by medical neglect and Trevor in 2005 in a car crash.

Achievements:

I have ten publsihed books still out there, three out of print books, Won a first prize for a poem that was made into a song years ago.
