Besides being a published author of over 20 books, including the Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery series and the Rocky Bluff P.D. series, I'm a wife, mother and great-grandmother.

Over the years, besides raising five children, I was a Camp Fire leader for 10 years, PTA Newsletter Editor for four years, PTA President for four years, and I've I've had several professions: telephone operator, teacher in a pre-school for developmentally disabled children, teacher at a two different day care centers for disadvantaged children in a ghetto, pre-school teacher, over 20 years owned and operated a licensed facility for developmentally disabled women, served as president for the California Residential Services Association for many years, was the training chairperson for CRSA's state mandated administrator training program for over ten years. (And I've also taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years.)

Besides family I love going to the movies and watching movies on DVD. I also enjoy some of the crime related TV shows such as The Closer.

I get the New York Times every morning via email, read the Fresno Bee, the Porterville Recorder and the local Southern Sierra Messenger.
