From the home of "ROCKY," Boys II Men, et al, I'm a life-long Phiily person but, spend lots of time in the woods of upstate Pennsylvania. Photography, Fly Fishing, Digital Art, Book Cover Layout & Design, Publication Interior artwork and imagery are my interests these days.

My former life was as a newspaper editor, technology consultant and professional educator with degrees in Biological Science and Art History/Fine Art.

My books are primarily about politics or environmental subjects illustrated with my own photographs and digital renditions of plant and animal life and their habitats.I do my own book and cover designs and page layouts. My most recent environmental book, A River Which Sweeps Me Along is a series of images of mountain and woodland streams and rivers with ecological, philosophical and spiritual commentary. My next Nature and Environment book, Incandescent Twilight, is in progress.

Thanks to those of you who offered Pen Pal requests. I've been distracted by an injury, then surgery and now, Physical Therapy. By the end of the summer, I hope to be active again with new books and images and more detailed responses.

These days it's almost all photography - I haven't written anything but letters-to-the-editors of Philly newspapers and various political forums. Publishing is too much under the control of the "establishment" and I'm tired of swimming upstream; but I think I'll try again sometime.
